Terri found herself as a stray, lost and confused. Thankfully, she was brought to us and is now safe. Terri is a very sweet and submissive girl. She is still a little nervous and unsure of what is happening, but she still gives all the tail wags and happy kisses. She gets along just fine with other dogs, unsure about cats. Due to her demeanor, she would most likely do fine with kids, too. She's not much of a barker, but that could also be due to her shy self, and not fully coming out of her shell, yet. If you're looking for more of a calm and mellow girl, who still likes to play and cuddle, Terri may just be the one. Terri is spayed, 4DX tested (Sh e is heartworm positive right now, but has started treatment. She has been on antibiotics and going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, she should test negative in about 8–10 months) , microchipped, and current on vaccines. She is also current on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention and Bravecto for flea and tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt at www.adoggie4you.org. She is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, dogs cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
