In the shelter’s words

About Louise Merlin Louise Merlin is a 7-pound, adorable Chihuahua with a heart of gold and a backstory that will melt yours. Coming from a horrific hoarding situation where living conditions were unimaginable, Louise has known a lot of fear in her short life. Despite everything she has been through, she has zero aggression—she is simply scared. She needs a special, patient human who understands that she won't be jumping into your lap right out of the gate. What Makes Louise So Special Pouch Potato Extraordinaire: In her foster home, Louise loves being carried around in a cozy sling/pouch. It’s her favorite VIP way to experience the world while feeling safe and close to her person. The Reward is Worth the Wait: Once Louise realizes she is safe, her shell melts away. That is when the magic happens: she will climb into your lap, fall sound asleep, and cuddle the night away. TV & Couch Companion: She is a professional couch-surfer who loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you to watch TV. Built-in Besties: She came in with several other dogs from the rescue and loves other pups. Having a confident doggy sibling around to show her the ropes would be a dream come true for her. Easy Habits: She is pee pad trained and very lovable. The Dream Home Louise is looking for a quiet, gentle, and understanding home with a patient human who can give her the time and safe space she needs to decompress. If you have the heart to show a rescue survivor what gentle love looks like, Louise will reward you with the sweetest, most loyal snuggles. Ready to give this sweet girl the safe, loving life she has always deserved? Apply to meet Louise Merlin today! Thank you for checking out my bio; please check back for an update. My foster will update my information as soon as I get settled at my foster home. My life was saved recently, and we are getting me safe and warm.
