Hi! My name is Pretty Girl and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 3, 2026 with two of my siblings! I went to a wonderful foster home for some TLC, but now I am back at RASKC to look for my forever family. My foster says this about me, "Pretty Girl was found outside by her foster parents and brought into their home about 4-5 weeks ago. She was with two other kittens that were shy at first, but they quickly warmed up and have been adopted. We kept Pretty Girl for a while because she has taken a very long time to warm up. She has made incredible progress the past two weeks, even in the past two days, to break her shyness. She loves being petted, but only if you can catch her (she loves to get under furniture). What made her shy is people lunging at her and grabbing her (this did not happen in our home). She is terrified of that. Try not to lunge at her and get on the floor with her if you can. She loves being petted on the floor, but is slowly enjoying being held, but only for a couple of minutes. I have been able to hold her a few times, she has a wonderful motor and she enjoyed it. She will smell my fingers, something she would never let me do a week ago. She is incredibly playful and is not afraid to be around anyone, just is afraid to be touched. It has now kind of become a game when she runs away, but it she does it in a playful way. She was introduced to a couple of our adult cats and showed extreme interest to want to play but our adult cats weren't so receptive, so a positive reaction by Pretty Girl! She eats Iams Kitten kibble and gets 1/2 of a can of wet Friskies 2x/day (pate or filets in gravy). Her new parent(s) will need to be very patient if they want to adopt Pretty Girl. Going into a new environment around new people she will easily crawl back into her shyness. But she is going to be a very loving cat...which is incredibly rewarding to any pet parent. :) Not to mention she is incredibly soft and beautiful!" I am a gentle and loving kitten who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up.
