In the shelter’s words
Meet Geebee! Geebee is a beautiful tabby girl with a big heart and plenty of love to give! Her previous owner affectionately called her a “puppy dog” because of how much she loved cuddling with her people. She’s a fan of headbutts, rubbing against you for pets, and letting you know with her little meows when she’s ready for some attention. And if you really want to win her over, a few Temptations treats certainly won’t hurt! When she’s not enjoying affection, Geebee loves to play. Her favorite toy is a little mouse she can bat around, chase, and even play fetch with! She also enjoys cozy spots and watching the world around her. Geebee can feel overwhelmed in unfamiliar or stressful environments, but she showed just how much a safe, comfortable space can make a difference when she settled into her foster home. She’ll do best with an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and will let her adjust at her own pace, and respect her boundaries. A calm, single-pet home with adults or a family with older cat-savvy children who respect her space would be an ideal fit. With a little patience and understanding, Geebee has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a cozy spot for her, a toy mouse to chase, and plenty of affection to share when she’s ready, Geebee might just be your girl! Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
