He glides through a room as though he knows something the rest of us do not, observes household proceedings with keen interest, and has a remarkable talent for appearing precisely where he is least expected. One moment, he is the picture of sophistication; the next, he is conducting a daring raid on a toy mouse or staging a most improper ambush upon your ankles.But do not let his air of intrigue fool you. Beneath that sleek black coat and aristocratic demeanor is a young kitten with a whole world to discover and a lifetime of companionship to offer. He is ready to find his very own family — people who appreciate a little personality, a touch of drama, and a great deal of feline charm.Barrow is currently accepting applications for a permanent position in a loving home. Potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. Applications are reviewed and the potential adopter is notified of the status of their app within 24-48 hours. Upon approval, adopter must make arrangements for pick-up of the dog/cat within 24 hours. Every adoption starts with a "7-day home visit". This is a trial period in which the adopter will take the dog/cat home for 7 days to make sure they are a good fit within the home/family. After the 7 day period, the adopter must return to the shelter to either complete the final adoption and receive all paperwork/records pertaining to the animal they adopted or to return the animal for a full refund if they choose to not complete the adoption.
