In the shelter’s words
Meet Harley: Your Next Best Friend! Harley is a 5 year old girl with a big heart. Due to her current owner's long work hours and health challenges, Harley needs a new forever home. This beautiful 65-pound girl is the definition of a "velcro dog", she'll follow you around with endless affection and charm. One of her signature moves? Standing on her back legs for a big bear hug! When her zoomies kick in, she's got real strength behind her, so she does best with a fenced yard where she can safely burn off that energy. She's also a strong puller on leash, so being comfortable with a big, enthusiastic dog is a must. Harley is alert and lets you know when someone's at the door, nothing that isn't easily managed with a little structure, but worth knowing for the right match. Perfect Home: Adult household needed. Harley's size and strength are simply too much for young children A calmer, steady household rather than one with lots of foot traffic or people constantly coming and going No other pets. While she's proven she can walk nicely alongside dogs her size or larger, she's best as the only pet at home Fenced yard preferred, or an owner with an active lifestyle who can give her regular, exercise Someone looking for a loyal companion Harley is spayed, fully vetted, housebroken, and crate trained. She's incredibly smart and just waiting for someone to show her what an active, engaged life looks like. Are you ready for Harley's big love?
