In the shelter’s words
Meet Tato Tato is a sweet, gentle kitten who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him some time and patience, and his loving personality really shines. Once he feels comfortable, Tato becomes a total cuddle bug and enjoys being close to his people. He is a calm and quiet little guy who loves playing with toys and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Tato also does well with calm, respectful dogs. He’s a little unsure about being held at first, but once he’s warmed up to you, he does just fine with it.Tato is currently recovering from a prior injury to his nose. His healing is progressing well, and his nose is looking better as he continues to recover. Tato would do best with someone who understands that earning a shy kitten’s trust takes a little time, but the love and cuddles you get in return are absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a gentle, peaceful companion with a sweet personality, Tato could be your perfect match!Tato is ready to find his forever home and show his new family just how much love this little guy has to give.PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. The application requests information about the potential family including their home and occupants, as well as requests a vet references. If you do not have a vet reference, please email photos of your home (and yard-if you are adopting a dog) to adoptions@forpetssakerescue.org after completing an application. Local Gulf Coast Adopters: You must complete an application to proceed. We have a private facility. We will schedule a Meet and Greet with you once your application has been approved. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption. We know these animals on a personal level and make judgement calls with their best interest at heart. Out of State Adopters: Complete an application, include a government issued photo ID with current address or an article of mail going to your current address in your name. We will not begin the application process without proper identification on file. Once approved, we will contact you to review pet information, personality, transport dates and locations.
