In the shelter’s words
This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided below.Princess is a 1-1/2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Unfortunately, her owners are currently renting a place from neighbors who do not want the dog there because she barks at them and they get scared - but she is not being aggressive. Princess loves kids, cats, and gets along with other dogs - although it will take her some time to get used to another dog. She should not be around chickens, though. She is a bit clingy, but is very sweet and willing to learn. Princess is great on a leash and is housebroken. Her current owners have never had to crate train her. She loves sleeping in the bed with you. She needs to be on a leash until she knows you; orhterwise, she may bolt or jump a fence. she is a sweet and loving dog.If you are interested in Princess, please email smarcie2290@gmail.com

Plan a visit with the source organization
An application is required and once it is processed and approved we will set up a time for the adopter to meet the pet, if the pet is finished with their vetting then we can finalize adoption or put the pet on hold and let the adopter know when the pet is ready. When we finalize adoption, the adopter will need to sign an adoption contract and a health disclaimer. We do ask that if the adopter decides that it is not working out that they bring the dog back to us so we can make sure the animal will go into a good home.
