In the shelter’s words
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: He came to us with a broken front leg. The leg has been repaired. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Meet Bungee, he is a tiny 2-year-old Papillon weighing just 8 pounds. He is a very timid, skittish boy who will need a patient and understanding home. Bungee spends much of his time under the bed, but he is beginning to come out more often and look around. He loves playing with toys “like a ninja,” especially when no one else is around. He is still frightened of being picked up and may run and hide, but he enjoys sleeping beside his foster parent once he feels safe. Bungee recently had surgery to repair a broken leg and still favors it at times. His recovery will need to be monitored, and his adopter should follow veterinary guidance regarding activity. Just this weekend, Bungee took a wonderful step forward by using the stairs to climb onto the bed by himself! With patience, gentleness, and time, this sweet little Papillon is slowly gaining confidence and learning to trust. -- Where did he come from: He came to us from a backyard breeder Adoption: ***** $800.00 ***** Weight: 8.0 lbs. Approximate age: 8/25/2024 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. -- ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------
