In the shelter’s words

Meet Daisy and Duke! A gentle and devoted pair of four-year-old Domestic Short Hair companions currently in Aliso Viejo, CA, whose hearts are beautifully intertwined and whose presence brings a calming warmth to every room they share. These two medium-sized sweethearts, each around 11 pounds, have grown into a perfectly balanced duo! Daisy, with her gray and tan tabby coat accented by soft white touches, is a curious and loving girl who quietly explores her surroundings. Duke, a gray and white tabby boy, is her loyal counterpart, offering gentle affection, intuitive companionship, and a special fondness for belly rubs. Their story is one of resilience and connection. After spending time outdoors, they adjusted to indoor life with growing confidence, especially once reunited. From that moment, their bond became unmistakable, filled with comforting grooming sessions and quiet reassurance. Together, they enjoy sun-drenched windows, cozy blankets, playful chases with little toys, and the simple joy of bird-watching. Their adorable habit of becoming completely mesmerized by outdoor activity often turns into a charming little show for anyone nearby! Daisy and Duke are affectionate with trusted people and thrive in a calm, patient environment where they can continue building confidence at their own pace. They are compatible with other pets and gentle children, though they may be shy at first with unfamiliar faces. With time, consistency, and positive reinforcement, their loving personalities truly shine. They are looking for a new loving home where they can stay together, surrounded by understanding caregivers who appreciate the quiet magic of shy but affectionate companions. Their future family will be rewarded with tender moments, peaceful companionship, and the joy of watching their bond continue to blossom.
