In the shelter’s words
Meet Mako – Your New Best Friend & Toy-Tossing Champion! At just 2 years old, Mako has mastered two very important things in life: having FUN and loving his people! This happy-go-lucky guy is a total toy fanatic. Give him a squeaky ball and watch the entertainment begin! Mako loves chasing toys, making them squeak with a perfectly placed nose boop, and proudly tossing them into the air so he can chase them all over again. And the best part? Mako doesn't need you to keep the game going! If your throwing arm needs a break, he's perfectly content creating his own one-dog game of fetch. He'll toss, chase, pounce, repeat…and keep himself thoroughly entertained. But there is ONE thing that can make Mako forget all about his beloved squeaky toys…YOU. The moment affection is available, playtime can wait. Mako is a certified cuddle bug who absolutely melts for human attention. He loves being close to his favorite people, soaking up affection and handing out plenty of kisses in return.Mako is the perfect combination of playful, goofy, affectionate, and downright lovable. He's ready for a family who will laugh at his silly antics, keep the toy basket stocked, and save him a spot nearby when it's time to cuddle. 2 years old Squeaky-toy enthusiast Professional self-entertainer Major cuddle bug Generous distributor of kisses Searching for his Fur-Ever HomeLooking for a dog who can make you laugh one minute and melt into you for love the next? You better meet Mako.
