In the shelter’s words
Look at this adorable face! Lilo is a playful, inquisitive girl who enjoys attention when she interested in receiving it. Her foster mom describes her as being sweet with a bit of sass. She may prefer the company of a male kitty. She has had some exposure to dogs and feel she would adjust with time and proper introduction. Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
