In the shelter’s words
Meet Sugar! Sugar can be a bit shy initially, but she will warm up quickly and then want to plop in your lap! Sugar is a very sweet kitten. Her favorite activities are exploring and cuddling with her sister Blaze. They would love to be adopted together. However, Sugar could also go to a home with another young, playful cat companion. Sugar should do fine with calm, gentle children age 10+. Her estimated date of birth is April 15, 2026. Kitty Bio #2209SL-Su. ▶️ scroll down for clip If you're interested in adopting Sugar, Blaze, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application. There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there. Our adoption fee structure is: Cats and kittens (under 8 years): $100 Cats (over 8 years): $75 Two cats adopted together: Full amount of the higher fee, half the amount of the lower or same fee. For example: a kitten and a cat (under 8) would be $100.00 + 50.00 = $150.00 We require that all cats be kept indoor only. We have an adoption contract.
