**Meet Panini!** Panini is a 7-year-old girl who has been through more than any dog should have to endure, but this sweet senior is finally starting to come out of her shell. She arrived at PAC on August 31, 2026, alongside her family, Cornbread and their daughter, Brioche. All three came to us with significant hair loss, and Panini had a large cherry eye that needed medical attention.Thanks to surgery, her cherry eye has been corrected, and the transformation has been about so much more than her appearance! Panini is gaining confidence, playing more in playgroup, seeking out attention from people, and even finding her voice. Watching her personality emerge has been such a beautiful thing!**Panini finds confidence in other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion.** Having another dog to help show her the ropes and reassure her could make all the difference as she continues learning that the world isn't such a scary place.Now, this sweet girl is ready for her next chapter.Panini has already spent so much time waiting for life to get better. She deserves a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be loved. A soft bed, a full belly, gentle affection, and a family to call her own would mean the world to this girl. Her daughter, Brioche, has found a home, and her dad, Cornbread, is heading to rescue. Now it's Panini's turn to find someone who sees the wonderful dog she's becoming.
