In the shelter’s words

Birthdate: 5/1/2019Breed: One of a kindWeight: 71.3 lbsCheck out my videos: Me and my ball, Being Silly Sugar, spice, and everything nice—that's Candy! This sweet girl is a whirlwind of fun and affection, just like your favorite candy shop. With a bounce in her step and a sparkle in her eye, Candy is all about walks, swimming, and playing fetch till your heart's content. Her angelic smile and soulful brown eyes are like a scoop of ice cream on a sunny day, instantly lifting the blues away. When it’s time for belly rubs and snuggles, Candy transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug, making every car ride a cozy adventure. And for those Sundays when the world feels a little gloomy, let Candy's sweetness melt your worries away!Chris, a dedicated volunteer, shares, As I walk down the aisle of kennels, Candy's excitement is contagious. She wiggles her tail like crazy, giving me that 'Pick me! Pick me!' look. Her little spin move when she sees the harness makes my day every time. But wait, there’s more! In the yard, Candy’s hilarious game of back-scratch dancing with toys on either side is pure comedy gold. Check out her videos to see her in action!Candy’s charm is like a lollipop—irresistible and delightful. Are you ready to let Candy sweeten your life?Candy is currently in a foster home. Please email adoptions@pawscrossedny.org if you'd like to meet her! Before you can meet sweet Candy, please complete an adoption application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic! Once your application is approved, you will be sent a brief questionnaire that must be completed before you can make an appointment. If you have any questions about Candy, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
