In the shelter’s words

*Name: Layla *Age: 1.5 year old *Current Weight: 45lbs *Rescued from: South Carolina*Adoption fee: $475Meet Layla!Layla’s journey began in South Carolina, where she was found struggling to survive alongside a pack of other stray dogs. Life hadn’t been kind to this sweet girl, but thanks to dedicated rescuers, Layla was given the chance to leave survival mode behind and discover what it means to be loved.Today, Layla is blossoming in foster care and is ready to find a forever family of her own.One of Layla’s favorite things in the world is spending time outside exploring. Whether it’s hiking a new trail, strolling through the neighborhood, splashing through a creek, or simply sniffing her way around the backyard, Layla loves being outside and part of the adventure. And when the day is done, Laylas perfectly content hanging out at home taking it easy. While Layla can be shy when meeting new people, patience and understanding go a long way. Give her a little time to settle in, and you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate dog who forms deep bonds with her people. Once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through, and she’ll happily soak up belly rubs, snuggles, and quality time with her favorite humans.Layla is smart, curious, food-motivated, and eager to learn. She’s already crate trained, house trained, and rides beautifully in the car, making her an easy companion for road trips and weekend adventures. She’s the perfect sidekick for an active person or family who enjoys spending time outdoors and wants a loyal companion by their side for every outing. Layla would thrive in a quiet home, ideally with a fenced yard, another friendly dog to help build her confidence, and an active family committed to including her in their daily lives. She’s looking for a home where she can continue exploring the world and enjoy the companionship of both her people and a canine friend. If you’re searching for a loyal adventure buddy with a gentle heart, Layla may just be the perfect match. All she needs is a chance to settle in—and once she does, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love, devotion, and unforgettable adventures. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs
