In the shelter’s words

Meet Nova, a beautiful almost 3-year-old girl who is equal parts sweet, silly, and sensitive. She originally came through Dallas Animal Services as a kitten and later returned to Dallas Pets Alive, where she has continued showing everyone just how lovable she is. Nova enjoys attention, loves to snuggle, and is quite the talker, so you can expect plenty of conversation when she is around.

Nova has a moderate energy level and enjoys a good mix of playtime and relaxation. Her favorites include tunnels, chasing balls and pom-poms, and snacking on minnows. She is litter box trained, uses her scratching post, and is perfectly capable of entertaining herself when her people are busy. When playtime is over, she is happy to settle in for some quality time with her favorite humans.

Nova would be happiest as the only cat in her home, where she can soak up all the attention without having to worry about feline roommates. She can be nervous around other cats, but she has done well with dogs. Smart, affectionate, and full of personality, Nova is ready for a home where she can feel secure, be adored, and truly be the star of the show.

All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-cats/ . For more information, you can email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.
