In the shelter’s words
Meet Carl, a resilient soul with the heart of a kitten and a purr that never quits. While he may be grown, Carl has kept all the best parts of kittenhood: he is either your most devoted snuggle buddy or an exuberant playmate, with absolutely no boring middle ground. Whether he is curling up in your lap for a nap or attempting a "stealthy" ambush on your ankles—though he’s convinced he’s much sneakier than he actually is—he does it all with a loud, happy purr. Carl is a social butterfly who thrives on human companionship. If he wants your attention, a treat, or a toy, he’ll let you know with the most adorable high-pitched squeak. He is a natural explorer, always eager to discover a new cozy nook or a hidden corner of the house. While he hasn't spent much time with other feline friends, he has always met them with curiosity and kindness. Carl’s journey hasn't been easy. He was found on the street with several medical challenges, but his spirit has remained unbreakable. He has fought hard to get healthy and his progress is nothing short of inspiring: his skin and mouth have healed, his fur and claws are growing back, and he has finally reached a healthy weight. After everything he has overcome, Carl is officially ready for his happily ever after. He is looking for an attentive, loving adopter who can provide the permanent home he truly deserves. Could you be the one to give this brave, affectionate boy the life he's been dreaming of? Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
