In the shelter’s words
Estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, Zazie was found as a stray in July. She spent the next three months in a shelter, waiting and becoming more withdrawn with each passing day. Somewhere along the way, the happy, curious cat she was meant to be seemed to disappear. After her Fancy Cats foster noticed her and pulled her from the shelter, Zazie’s personality has begun to shine. Zazie is curious, affectionate, lovable, and wonderfully well-mannered. She loves being close to her people and will happily let you pick her up and carry her. And when it’s time to play, nothing beats chasing the laser! She’s also been wonderfully calm around other cats and has shown no reaction to them. Now Zazie is ready for a forever home where she can continue to blossom, feel safe, and finally know what it’s like to be someone’s beloved cat. Zazie has waited long enough to be noticed. We hope her person is out there, ready to notice her one last time. Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Plan a visit with the source organization
Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
