In the shelter’s words
Meet Odie – Our Distinguished Gentlepup Odie the Rat Terrier is the ultimate mellow soul, with just the right sprinkle of playful energy to keep life fun! This laid-back gentleman loves long naps, gentle strolls, and savoring quiet moments—but don’t let his age fool you. Give him a ball, and his eyes light up like a pup half his age! Odie is dog and cat friendly, crate trained, and easygoing around the house. He may give a little husky bark when first left alone, but he settles quickly for a cozy snooze. Feeding time is his favorite part of the day, and he greets it with all the enthusiasm of a youngster. Whether he’s curled up for a nap or trotting after his favorite toy, Odie is all about comfort, companionship, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and peaceful, loving moments, Odie is ready to win your heart—and maybe even claim your couch.
