In the shelter’s words

**Adoption Profile: Meet Dexxter!** Dexxter is a lively dog who is always ready for a game — whether it’s chasing his favorite ball or tugging on a rope toy. His playful nature makes him a perfect companion for those who love an active lifestyle! **Personality:** Dexxter has a BIG personality packed with character. He’s curious, affectionate, and loves to explore new environments. His spunk shines through when he’s playing with toys, and he can entertain himself for *hours*! He loves to show off his tricks and will do anything for a treat, making training sessions a fun bonding experience. **Dog Reactivity:** While Dexxter is a bundle of joy, he is dog reactive and would thrive in a home where he is the only pet. His ideal family will be patient and understanding, working with him to manage his reactivity through positive reinforcement training. With the right guidance, Dexx can learn to feel more comfortable around other dogs, but will continue to have to be managed carefully and never left alone with other animals. **Ideal Home:** Dexxter needs an active household where he can play and engage with his humans. A fenced yard for playtime (preferably privacy fencing) would be a bonus! He enjoys outdoor adventures, long walks, and exploring new parks. A family that can provide structure, love, and plenty of toys will be perfect for him. **Adoption Requirements:** - Experienced dog owners - No other pets in the home - A commitment to ongoing training and socialization If you’re ready to bring a spirited friend into your life, fill out an application at savingdeathrowdogs.com today!
