In the shelter’s words

Meet Maxwell: A Devoted, Movie-Star Handsome Tuxedo Boy Ready to Steal Your Heart! Age: 13 Months Appearance: A striking Black and White Tuxedo coat with a shining, almost panther-like sheen, and bold yellow eyes. He's got movie-star looks — a tall, long, athletic body paired with an equally brilliant mind. Personality: Highly intelligent, loving, and endlessly cuddly, Maxwell is happiest curled up in a lap, giving head bumps, and chatting away with his humans. He's a talkative, playful, funny guy who is always up for interaction — he even loves keeping his foster mommy company while she works at her laptop or desk. Maxwell knows exactly what matters most in life: his foster mommy first, lots of pets and cuddles a close second, and food third! He's so bonded to her that he calls out for his "mama" whenever he can't find her — or whenever he's ready for a cuddle or a meal. Throughout his time in foster care, Maxwell has been more than just a cuddly companion — he's been a true emotional support kitty, always there with a head bump or a lap snuggle exactly when his foster mommy needed it most. This handsome, athletic guy is high-energy and loves to play — feather wands, bug wands, and noisy mouse and bird toys are all favorites, but the kicker wand is his absolute favorite. Spending quality playtime with his favorite toys is the absolute fastest way to win his devoted heart and help him burn off his happy cat energy. When he's not playing, he loves lounging up on his tall cat tree with a hanging toy, taking in his kingdom from above. He'll need a bit of time to adjust to a new home and new faces, just like any cat would — but give him the love, care, and patience he deserves during that transition, and he'll warm right up. Maxwell is a truly magnificent young cat who will bring a mountain of fun, energy, love, cuddles, and loyalty to the lucky home that chooses him.
