In the shelter’s words
Meet Clint! Clint is a handsome adult tuxedo with a heart full of love and a serious appreciation for human attention. This affectionate boy absolutely adores his people. He loves to purr, make biscuits, and curl up on your lap while you relax on the couch. In short, Clint is happiest when he’s close to the people he loves! Clint has come such a long way since he was rescued. After suffering years of neglect, he has blossomed into a happy, loving cat, and you would never know what he went through by meeting him today. Thanks to the love and care he has received in his foster home, Clint has truly found his confidence and is happier than ever. Now, Clint is ready for the next chapter: a forever home where he can be the king of his castle! He has thoroughly enjoyed being the only cat in his foster home and would love a home where he can continue to soak up all the love and attention for himself. Could Clint be your perfect lap cat and loyal companion? He’s ready to trade his foster home for a forever home of his own! To learn more or apply to adopt Clint, please email nycatcoaladopt@yahoo.com or call Joan at (718) 671-1695. An online adoption form is also available - click here to apply.

Plan a visit with the source organization
We wish to place cats only in secure, safe, stable, loving homes, and we are very careful in our review of the applications. Potential Pet-parents fill out an Adoption Application, we review the application, call the applicant, schedule a time for them to visit our cats. We check their references, call their veterinarian, and verify that their backup person who would take the cats if something happened to the adopter is on board. Then a Foster Agreement is completed. When all parties are happy, after about 2 weeks, we have the finalized Adoption Agreement sent to us.
