In the shelter’s words

WANTED: Personal Assistant for a Small Blonde Gentleman Mateo is a distinguished 3-month-old Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 9 pounds, and he is currently accepting applications for the coveted position of "Forever Family." The ideal candidate will appreciate his handsome cream-colored looks, tell him he's adorable on a regular basis, and understand that carrying items around the house is not stealing. It is interior decorating. As a young professional in the fields of Mischief, Exploration, and Making People Smile, Mateo spends his days investigating important matters. These include suspicious leaves, rogue dust bunnies, squeaky toy technology, and the deeply confusing human habit of folding laundry instead of turning it into a puppy nest. Mateo came to rescue with his siblings, but he's ready to step into the spotlight and begin the next chapter of his career. His qualifications include being ridiculously cute, conveniently portable, naturally entertaining, and exceptionally gifted at winning hearts without putting in a lot of effort. Like all puppies, Mateo is still learning the ropes and will need a family committed to helping him master the fine art of being a well-mannered canine citizen. Training, patience, consistency, and lots of positive experiences will help him grow into the amazing adult dog he's destined to become. In return, Mateo offers a compensation package that includes unlimited laughs, enthusiastic greetings, constant companionship, and enough affection to make even the toughest day better. Dog experts may insist that puppies need structure and guidance. Mateo respectfully believes puppies need snacks, belly rubs, comfortable nap spots, and regular reminders that they are absolute perfection. If your home feels a little too quiet, your couch has an empty spot waiting to be claimed, or you've ever wished for a tiny blonde executive who approaches every situation with confidence far exceeding his experience level, Mateo may be your guy. Applications are now being accepted. Mateo is ready to dramatically improve someone's life while remaining completely convinced that it was his idea all along. Apply online to adopt Mateo (GA) today at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Mateo's adoption fee is $650.Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Mateo (GA) in case of duplicate names within the rescue.
