In the shelter’s words

Victor the Valiant Meet Victor the Valiant, a distinguished tuxedo gentleman with a serious expression, a tender heart, and what appears to be his very own superhero insignia! The handsome white “V” on his chest looks just like a superhero emblem, earning him a name worthy of a feline hero. His superpowers? Expert-level cuddling, impressive feline friendships, and the courage to keep learning that humans can be friends, too. Victor came from a hoarding situation, and he's been learning that humans aren't so bad after all. He's making progress, and one of the quickest ways to win his approval is through pets and scratches. He enjoys affection, doesn't mind being held, and is discovering that having trusted humans around can be a pretty lovely arrangement. But if there's one thing Victor knows for certain, it's that feline friendship is one of life's greatest treasures. Victor absolutely LOVES other cats! His feline companions help him feel safe and confident, and he's happiest when he can snuggle up with his kitty friends. He's the sort of fellow who appreciates good company without needing to be the center of attention. A home with friendly resident cats would be ideal for this distinguished gentleman, giving him both companionship and the confidence to keep blossoming. Now, don't mistake his serious demeanor for a lack of personality. Victor does have a playful streak, and every so often, his inner kitten makes an appearance. Still, given the choice between a wild party and a cozy cuddle session with his favorite feline friends, you can probably guess which invitation he'll accept. Victor isn't asking for much. Just a safe home, some kind humans, a few good chin scratches, and some feline friends to curl up beside. He's a gentleman, after all. He doesn't need to make a fuss to show you he's happy. And with that bold white “V” on his chest, he looks ready to take on his greatest mission yet: finding his forever family. He would do best in a home with older children who understand the boundaries of cats. He's not been around dogs, but we think he has the type of personality that would get along with respectful, even tempered dogs! If you're looking for a handsome tuxedo boy with a quiet charm, a growing appreciation for human affection, and an enormous love for other cats, Victor the Valiant may be your perfect match. His past taught him to be cautious. His future is full of promise. And with a little patience and a few good feline friends, this little superhero is ready to save the day — one cuddle at a time.
