In the shelter’s words
Meet Granny Smith! Looking for the perfect mix of sweet and energetic? Look no further than Granny Smith! Though he shares his name with a tart apple, this handsome brown tabby boy is nothing but pure sweetness. Granny Smith is the ultimate combination of affectionate and playful. Whether he is enthusiastically chasing a feather wand across the living room or curling up in your lap for a world-class cuddle session, he brings a wonderful, bright energy to every room he enters. This little guy is incredibly social and deeply loves his feline family! He spends his days wrestling, grooming, and napping in a big cuddle puddle with: His sweet sister, Fuji His playful brothers, Braeburn, McIntosh or Wiggly Adoption Note: Granny Smith would make a fantastic addition to any loving home. Because he is so attached to his siblings, he would be absolutely thrilled to be adopted alongside Fuji, Braeburn, or McIntosh. Adopting a pair means they always have a playmate! Ready to take your pick of the orchard? Submit an adoption application today to meet Granny Smith and see if this affectionate little tabby is the apple of your eye! We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Smitty would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Smitty is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered , and litter box trained. Smitty's adoption fee is $135. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. If you are interested in meeting Smitty , please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today! Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.
