In the shelter’s words

Little miss Koko finds herself coming into rescue later in her life but has a sweet and loving personality that will carry her through. She was surrendered when her family could no longer care for her through no fault of her own. She is now looking for a stable family to welcome her home where she can spend the rest of her days and also the best of her days.. Koko is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu mix weighing around 20 pounds. Life certainly can throw some curve balls, but Koko can dodge each one and come out on top. She does well with other dogs and children. Her mature nature has taught her that life is sweeter when you have a positive approach. Her heart is filled with love and loving her has its own set of rewards. Koko has not been introduced to cats since coming into rescue. Her approach and relationship with a cat is not known at this time. We do know that Koko is sweet as sugar and enjoys human company. For Koko, the unknowns are about to become knowns in her life, and it all starts with an application. The family that can claim Koko has their own will reap all the rewards that she offers. If Koko is pulling on your heartstrings, fill out and application today. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Koko is $300. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
