In the shelter’s words
Gracie was found when she was very pregnant, and the day she was rescued she had her 5 beautiful babies. She was a wonderful mama to all her babies and is, therefore, nicknamed "mama"! She deserves to go to a calm, peaceful, happy home. She is a shy girl, who will need a family that is patient with her and slowly gains her trust. She is not reactive or aggressive in any way, she just needs time to get comfortable and adjust. Once she is comfortable she will walk by you rubbing herself on your legs and will sit / lay near you; she just needs to trust you. She loves to observe people and just relax, although she has just discovered her love for chasing soft, fuzzy balls around the house! She loves her wet food, and churus are her favorite treat; she likes her dry food as well. She will be ok by herself to get all the attention, or she can also go to a home with a younger companion (she is friendly with kittens and young cats). All FHS adoptable pets have been fully vetted (including spay/neuter, deworming, appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, and microchipping.) Est. dob: 12/22/24
