In the shelter’s words
Avery is playful, curious, loves cuddling in the morning and evening before sleeping, enjoys a window and talks to flies. The first thing she does in the morning before you feed her is she will run to her scratch pad and gives it a good scratch. This little girl Loves churu and you will definitely win your way into her heart with them! Avery would do best in a home where she’s the only cat. If you’re looking for a cat who will reward your kindness with affection and unwavering sweetness, Avery is your girl! Avery was found on the street. Being friendly, she was easily scooped up and brought indoors by one of our rescuers. We think she came from a home where she was neglected or she had some issues on the street, as she doesn’t like change and has shown us how much more loving and affectionate she is once she is fully settled in. Avery is about 2 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you would like to meet Avery, please fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make navigate to Avery as the cat, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
