In the shelter’s words
Say hello to Custard! This adorable puppy came into rescue with six of his siblings and both of his parents after being surrendered by his previous owners. Now, Custard is ready to find a family of his very own! Custard is the most outspoken of his group and isn't shy about making new friends! He loves meeting new people and will happily come over to say hello with plenty of enthusiastic tail wags. This social little guy has lots of love to give and is sure to keep you smiling with his fun-loving puppy personality. As a puppy, Custard has plenty of energy and curiosity to keep life exciting! He'll need a family willing to invest time in basic training, patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement as he grows into the wonderful dog he's meant to be. With the right family by his side, Custard has so much potential to become a loving and loyal companion. Custard's adoption fee is $400. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Custard is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, Custard cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts. Apply to adopt Custard today at www.adoggie4you.org.

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
