In the shelter’s words

Once little kittens unsure of the world around them, Dee and Squeedle have been learning that life indoors is pretty wonderful. Now, they’re ready to find a forever home where they can continue to blossom and discover that humans really are the best. They’ll need a gentle heart and patience to continue to build their confidence–and preferably a home where Cat Tv can be turned on daily, because they are obsessed. They’re also avid game-players; if you like puzzles, you are guaranteed to have two helpers! Meet Dee, our beautiful calico girl:Dee has the cutest, roundest little face, with beautiful eyes that match her calico colors and the cutest little white paws. She’s simply irresistible. Dee has come such a long way from the terrified little kitten she once was. These days, she’s a purring machine who loves finding a cozy lap to curl up in. She’s discovered the joy of playing with wand toys, exploring tunnels, and snuggling into soft, cozy blankets. One of the sweetest things about Dee is watching her confidence grow as she learns that people are here to love her! Meet Squeedle, our silky-soft gray girl:Squeedle is the softest, silkiest gray girl with the fluffiest tail you’ll ever meet. She has matching white paws and the most beautiful green eyes. She’s learning that humans aren’t so scary after all, and she’s beginning to show her confidence through sweet purrs and gentle pets. While she isn’t quite a lap cat yet, she’s finding her own way to show affection by choosing cozy spots as close to her humans as she can get. She loves a good wand toy, exploring tunnels, and playing alongside her sister Dee. Together these sisters love a little kitten shenanigans!A note about their happily ever after:These sweet girls will need a patient, understanding adopter and a quiet home where they can continue to build their confidence at their own pace. They may need a little time to settle in and feel safe, but the love and trust they give in return will be so worth it. If you have a gentle heart and a little patience, you could be the person who helps these girls write their happily ever after. Both girls have lived happily with other cats and a gentle, senior dog. They would do best in a home with teenage kids who understand the importance of a gentle hand, patience, and giving them the time and space they need to feel safe and loved.
