In the shelter’s words

Birthdate: 4/16/20Breed: One of a kindWeight: 72 lbs Hawaii is pure sunshine in dog form—sweet, affectionate, and always ready for fun. Whether she’s chasing a ball around the yard, splashing in the water, or tossing her toys in the air, this playful girl brings joy to every moment. She’s got an adventurous spirit and is always up for whatever the day holds, from swim sessions to car rides or just exploring the great outdoors. At home, she’s equally happy to settle in for some cuddle time. Hawaii soaks up pets and belly rubs and isn’t shy about showing her love with tail wags and sweet kisses. She’s the perfect blend of energetic and loving—always ready to play but more than happy to curl up beside you when it’s time to relax. If you’re looking for a best friend who brings the party and the snuggles, Hawaii’s ready to ride shotgun on life’s next adventure.Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs! Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
