Hey there gang! My name is Brynn. It is of Welsh origin meaning "hill". Taking to the nature-inspired character of this name, no mountain will be too big for me to conquer!!! My short, horrible past is proof of that. You see, I was dumped on a back road and left with my leash, food and a bowl. At least the horrible dumpers left me with that right?? Not!! How cruel! At some point, I was hit by a car, not sure if it was before or after I was dumped. When I was found, it was discovered that I had a number of injuries and according to the vet, I likely laid in the culvert pipe suffering for at least 2 days. Despite the amount of pain I was in, I was gentle and sweet to my rescuers. Because of the wonderful, loving treatment I received from my rescuers, vets and Lucies' staff, I am now a happy and energetic girl with good eye contact. I'm super smart too, as I have already learned to sit! I'm kid friendly and would love to have a family of my own. Won't you please consider adopting me? *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Interested adopters contact our adoption volunteer either via email or phone. Our volunteer in turn talks to them more about the pet they are interested in. If the adopter seems like a good match, they are requested to complete an application. They come to the rescue location to meet the dog of interest. We also sometimes arrange a home visit to make sure the environment is suitable for the dog. If all is well, they will get a call from a volunteer letting them know they are approved for adoption. They will be provided copies of the vaccination and sterilization records. A delivery day will be arranged for the dog. Either the adopter may come and pick up the dog, or a volunteer can arrange to have the dog delivered. They sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We do periodically contact our adopters to check up on the dog to make sure everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying their new life!
