In the shelter’s words
Mars is a neutered male Gray and White Tiger DSH Kitten. Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals. Their adoption fee is $100 (cash or checks only). If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. You can Contact Us through the website to start the process. We are all volunteers and our dedicated kitten volunteers are diligent about responding to all inquiries. We appreciate your patience.

There is a $60 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE for all animals which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered there is a $35 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT upon proof of surgery. An adoption application must be filled out at the Shelter by the person wishing to adopt the animal. Once the application has been reviewed and approved the potential adopter may visit and meet any of the animals.
