In the shelter’s words

APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD. ❤️ Meet Enzo! ❤️ Enzo is a 2-year-old, big-hearted, goofy, and incredibly sweet boy who brings laughter and love wherever he goes! With an energy level of 8/10 , Enzo is always ready for an adventure, a game of chase, or some good old-fashioned fun. He especially loves high-energy dogs who enjoy running, playing, and roughhousing. His favorite companions are often Whippets and other playful pups who can keep up with his energetic spirit. Enzo is part yoga master, part little fox, part seal—and maybe even half cat! He loves curling himself into a tiny ball, performing surprise barrel rolls, giving gentle little love nibbles, and sleeping with his back feet in the air. His silly quirks will keep you smiling, while his affectionate nature will quickly steal your heart. Enzo is smart, eager to learn, and already knows several commands. He’s also a wonderful travel companion and does beautifully on car rides—even those lasting 10 hours! Enzo is looking for a loving home with someone who understands and appreciates his energy. He’ll thrive with plenty of exercise, playtime, companionship, and mental stimulation. He can experience separation anxiety, especially when he hasn’t had an outlet for his energy, so he needs a family willing to support him with patience, structure, and understanding. Enzo generally does well with other dogs and enjoys doggy daycare and dog parks. He does best with larger, energetic dogs who enjoy rough play, though he also has experience with smaller, calmer dogs. On walks, he may become leash-reactive if another dog lunges at him, and he needs a thoughtful handler who can help him navigate those encounters. He typically prefers to avoid conflict and will walk away when possible, but he has shown aggression toward dogs that bully or challenge him. Enzo has so much love, laughter, and adventure to give. He’s ready to find his forever family! ❤️ Could you be the person Enzo has been waiting for? Text: Kevin (469.623.3999) Or Sara (214.549.9905)
