In the shelter’s words
Can we say “odd couple?” Meet Goliath & Trixie—proof that opposites really do attract.Goliath is the big personality in the relationship: large, confident, boisterous, and convinced he’s in charge of absolutely everything. Trixie, on the other hand, is tiny, gentle, and wonderfully unbothered by the chaos around her. Together, they’re the definition of balance. These two absolutely adore each other. You’ll often find them snuggled up together, grooming one another, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Goliath is outgoing and always ready to investigate what’s happening, while sweet Trixie is more demure and laid-back. She’ll need a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace, but once she feels safe, she becomes quite the little chatterbox and melts into pets and affection. She’s truly the yin to his yang. When Goliath gets worked up about life, Trixie is his chamomile tea—calm, comforting, and exactly what he needs. And while Goliath thinks he’s the boss… we all know who’s really running this relationship. If you know, you know.If you’re looking for twice the love, twice the fluff, and a pair whose personalities complement each other perfectly, Goliath and Trixie are waiting to meet you.

Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair!
