In the shelter’s words

Meet Ivan! Ivan is a handsome grey tabby who is looking for a special home where he can decompress, feel safe, and slowly come out of his shell. New surroundings can be a little overwhelming for him, so Ivan will need a patient family willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. With a calm environment, understanding, and plenty of love, Ivan can begin to build confidence and show his true personality. He’s just waiting for someone who will believe in him and give him the chance to blossom.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
