In the shelter’s words
Date of birth: Photos taken 2026. Kawai is a soft‑spoken little tabby with a calm presence and a sweet, observant nature. She’s not the type to demand attention — instead, she prefers to quietly share space, settling nearby while you go about your day. Her gentle personality makes her easy to love, especially for someone who appreciates a peaceful, low‑key companion. Her best friend in the world is Oka, a friendly male cat who brings out her confidence. Kawai blossoms with him around. They nap together, explore together, and move through life as a steady, comforting pair. She would thrive in a home where she and Oka can stay together and continue their sweet bond. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate duo — with Kawai as the quiet heart and Oka as her cheerful sidekick — these two will bring warmth and harmony to your home. She is spayed, treated for fleas & worms, tested negative for FeLV/FIV & vaccinated for RCP, Rabies and microchipped. Adoption fee $125.00. If you would like to meet this wonderful kitty as well as many other cats on the web site, call RescueCats at 678-817-9647 or Jerri at 404-304–9210, or e-mail rescuecats@hotmail.com or Jerri at JerriClay@gmail.com --You may also visit the RescueCats web site at www.rescuecats.org and see all of the other cats in the Kitty Photo Gallery.Adoption fees range from $125-$250 depending on age and breed.
