In the shelter’s words

Cara (GA) is the kind of dog who makes you believe in happy endings. This gorgeous, justovertwoyearold sweetheart had a tough start, but thanks to expert care and her own incredible spirit, she healed beautifully — and today she’s all joy, love, and tail wags. Her smile alone could brighten a whole room. Cara is spayed, microchipped, up to date on core vaccines, and ready for her forever family. She’s a total lovebug who adores people of all ages and gets along wonderfully with dogs big and small. Snuggling is her love language, and she’ll happily curl right into you like she was made for it. She’s also housetrained, and sleeps soundly through the night, making her an easy, delightful companion. Smart and eager to please, Cara loves showing off her manners — especially if treats are involved. She enjoys making new dog friends, hanging out with kids, being told she’s a good girl, and soaking up every bit of affection that comes her way. Cara would thrive in an active, loving home, especially one with children who want a playful, gentle buddy to grow up with. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, endlessly snuggly companion who will adore you with her whole heart, Cara might just be your perfect match. Ready to give this special girl the beautiful future she deserves? Apply to adopt Cara (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Cara's adoption fee is $550.
