In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Spot! One thing I'd like you to know right away is that my picture doesn't tell the whole story. I'm a happy, playful guy with a fun-loving personality and lots of enthusiasm for life. I've overcome some challenges and am now healthy, feeling great, and ready to find a forever family of my own. These days, I'm focused on what comes next—making new friends, having fun, and finding a home where I'll be loved and cherished. I enjoy spending time with people and would love a family to share life's adventures with. Whether we're playing, going for walks, or just hanging out together, I'll be happiest right by your side. If you're looking for a cheerful companion with a bright future ahead of him, come meet me at M'Shoogy's. I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life with someone special!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
