In the shelter’s words
Meet Dora – The Adventurous Explorer! This spirited girl is looking for a home that understands some dogs just need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. But once she settles in, she’s a loyal and loving companion. Dora was born in October 2022 and is an active, fun-loving pup who loves walking on a leash and would make a fantastic jogging partner. Whether you're up for outdoor adventures or just looking for a best friend to explore life with, Dora is ready to join you! ✨ Her adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. Currently in Texas, but transport is available to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY, and locations along the East Coast (excluding Rhode Island and Massachusetts due to state regulations). A transport fee of $250 applies. Are you ready for a life full of adventure with Dora? ️ Apply today at www.adoggie4you.org!

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
