In the shelter’s words

6 Years Young | Sweet, Loving & Ready for a Forever Home! This adorable little sweetheart is looking for a forever family to love! He is currently with our rescue partners in Louisiana but can come to NJ as soon as we find a foster or adopter. At 6 years old and 10lbs, this precious pup has the perfect combination of a playful spirit and a gentle, loving personality. With those big, beautiful eyes and adorable ears, it’s hard not to fall in love! Why you’ll fall in love: Dog Friendly: Gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. People & Kid Friendly: Loves people of all ages. Kennel Trained: Already comfortable with a kennel! Professional Cuddler: Likes snuggling, being held close, and soaking up affection. Food Motivated: Treats are the way to this little one’s heart, making training and bonding even more fun! This sweet soul doesn’t ask for much—just a loving home, a cozy place to curl up, some yummy treats, and a family to shower with unconditional love. At 6 years old, this pup is past the puppy stage but still has so much love and companionship to give. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, a loyal companion, or a wonderful addition to your family, this little sweetheart could be the perfect match. Mr. Peanut is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Mr. Peanut has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
