In the shelter’s words
Danny — A Fun-Loving Boy Ready for His Family! ❤️ Danny is a smart, affectionate young Border Collie mix with a playful personality and a wonderful enthusiasm for life! He's an active boy who enjoys learning new things, spending time with his people, and having fun with his canine friends. Danny has been busy exploring new activities! He loves entertaining himself with his herding ball, enjoys going to doggy daycare, and has even started dock diving training! He's comfortable around water and happily jumps into the wading pool. This intelligent boy is eager to please and continues to improve his skills, including fetch, sit, wait, and leash manners. He's housetrained, does well in his crate, and enjoys multiple walks each day. Danny also has a sweet, affectionate side. He enjoys spending time with his foster brother, an older doodle, and even sleeps beside him! He would likely enjoy a home with another playful, medium-to-large dog who can match his enthusiasm. Like many young dogs, Danny will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, regular exercise, and opportunities to keep his bright mind engaged. His ideal family will enjoy an active lifestyle and appreciate having a smart, fun-loving companion who's always ready for the next adventure. Danny has so much to offer someone who enjoys an active, affectionate companion. He's ready for a family who will keep him learning, playing, and exploring. Could you be the one he's been waiting for? ❤️ Fostered in Springfield, IL. Please contact riccwat@aol.com if you have questions about Danny. *** The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that the foster dog is not a good match for the applicant and we do not process their application.
