In the shelter’s words

Meet Franklin, aka Frankie! Your future little shadow! ***Apply today, but not available until 11/12***Franklin is a very special boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Frankie is completely blind, but don't let that scare you away from adopting a blind kitten. Blind kittens can play, explore, cuddle, and live happy, fulfilling lives just like any other kitten. They may navigate the world a little differently, but they have just as much love to give! Playtime is Frankie's specialty! His favorite toy is a ribbon wand, and he loves playing with it. He's a good boy who uses his litter box reliably and gets along well with other cats and dogs. He's even learning to navigate stairs! He can make his way up like a pro, and he's still working on mastering the trip back down. A few things Frankie needs in his forever home:Because Franklin is blind, consistency is key! Keeping furniture in familiar places and maintaining clear, open pathways will help him confidently navigate his surroundings and avoid bumping into things. With a little patience and an understanding family, Frankie can thrive! A few more details: Up to date on vaccines Scheduled to be neutered on November 11 His remaining nonvisual eye will be removed during the same surgical appointment FIV/FeLV testing and microchipping will also be completed at that time Double the love, double the fun! Franklin would absolutely love to be adopted with his brother, Harry, but a home together isn't a requirement. The most important thing is finding Frankie a family who will love him for the wonderful kitten he is! Don't let blindness stop you from opening your heart to Frankie! He's playful, curious, and ready to find a family who will help him navigate the world, one ribbon toy adventure at a time. Apply to adopt Franklin today! He can't wait to find his forever home.
