In the shelter’s words
Meet Eko, a six-month-old orange tabby girl with a gentle heart and a sneaky approach to snuggles. Female orange tabbies are uncommon, and this little lady has plenty of charm to match her special coloring! Eko is a quiet soul who needs time to feel comfortable. At first, she may seem shy--but if she thinks you aren't looking, she'll try to slip onto your lap. Give her patience and a little space to make the first move, and you may find you've become her favorite person. While she's usually quiet, Eko has a rambunctious side that comes out at playtime! She loves chasing wand toys, and is surprisingly fast. Her absolute favorite toy is a plastic straw. Her foster's ponytail is another irresistible target--she'll sneak up from behind and jump to catch it! She is very graceful and will often stand on her back legs to get a treat. Eko met Bertrand when she was just eight weeks old, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Their friendship is an important part of her story, and she would love a home where they can continue their adventures together. Give Eko a little time to settle in, and this gentle girl will soon be curling into your lap and winning your heart with her own sweet mix of shyness and mischief.
