In the shelter’s words

Meet Mila Female DOB: November 15, 2023 Weight: 50 pounds Breed: Husky Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Mila is a happy, loving girl with a heart full of joy—and she’s been waiting far too long for a home of her own. While other dogs have come and gone, Mila has stayed hopeful, greeting each day with the same friendly spirit and loving nature. She doesn’t understand why she’s still waiting—but she never stops being the sweet, happy dog she’s always been. Personality Mila is friendly, affectionate, and full of life. She loves being around people and has a warm, joyful energy that makes her easy to love. She enjoys attention, interaction, and being part of the moment. She has that beautiful balance of playful and loving—happy to be active, but just as happy being close to her people. Breed Info As a Husky mix, Mila carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A social, engaging personality A love for activity and companionship Husky mixes are known for being friendly, expressive, and full of personality, thriving in homes where they can stay active and connected. Ideal Home Mila would do best in a home where she is included as part of the family and given the love she has been waiting for. She will thrive with someone who enjoys an interactive, affectionate dog. Owner Responsibilities Mila will need regular exercise, routine, and continued engagement. Like all dogs, she requires proper care, structure, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Mila has been waiting longer than most. Please consider giving a chance to a dog who has so much love left to give. Sometimes the ones who wait the longest are the ones who love the hardest. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Mila will finally get the life she deserves. Veterinary Care Mila is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing her to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue her care. Important Note Mila is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside.
