In the shelter’s words
Date of birth: 10/14/20. Photos taken 2026. Oka is a gentle, easygoing male who brings calm wherever he goes. He’s friendly, warm, and quietly confident — the kind of cat who settles in and makes every space feel more peaceful. Oka enjoys soft attention, relaxed routines, and simply being near his people. He’s also best buds with Kawai, and their bond is something special. Oka is her steady anchor, the one who helps her feel safe and brave. They nap together, explore together, and move through life as a perfectly matched pair. Keeping them together means giving Kawai the comfort she relies on and giving Oka the companion he adores. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow boy who comes with his own built‑in best friend, Oka is ready to bring love and harmony into your home. He is neutered, treated for fleas & worms, tested negative for FeLV/FIV & vaccinated for RCP, Rabies and microchipped. Adoption fee $125.00. If you would like to meet this wonderful kitty as well as many other cats on the web site, call RescueCats at 678-817-9647 or Jerri at 404-304–9210, or e-mail rescuecats@hotmail.com or Jerri at JerriClay@gmail.com --You may also visit the RescueCats web site at www.rescuecats.org and see all of the other cats in the Kitty Photo Gallery.Adoption fees range from $125-$250 depending on age and breed.
