In the shelter’s words
Hi there friends! My name is Zaytoon! I am a 1 year old, medium-sized, black and white, neutered, domestic shorthair male cat and it is pleaspurr to meet you! All about me, you ask? Well let me tell ya! I'm a friendly and easygoing boy who loves people and pets! First thing's first, I absolutely loooove to play! (See adorable pic above) From stuffed animals to pipe cleaners, I'm down for anything. In addition to my energetic side, I'm a total cuddle bug who loves to be close to you. I make for the perfect lap cat and while we're at it, love being groomed as I sit blissfully on my little slice of heaven on earth. My ideal home is one that is able to provide quality time that also loves playing so I can live my dream life filled with play and snuggles in my downtime! So if you're looking for a sweet, bundle of fun, then I think I might just be your boy! Come on down to the shelter so we can meet! Zaytoon ID#A0985149

Plan a visit with the source organization
When a potential adopter comes into the shelter and sees an animal he or she is interested in adopting, we ask the potential adopter to first complete an Adoption Profile. Then, one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives brings the adopter and animal together in one of our Get Acquainted Rooms. There they have a quiet, private space to get to know each other better. During the visit, the customer service representative may discuss the following: past experiences with animals and current animals in the home lifestyle, including work schedule and the kinds of activities they plan to do with their companion animal housing situation - own or rent, size of yard, etc. In order to make the best match possible for a family and home, we suggest potential adopters bring along all members of the household to meet the new companion animal and bring their current dog(s) to meet a potential dog. Adopters must also be 18 or older.
