In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Vixel! I am a short haired grey tabby with white male born approximately 6/02/2026. I'm a sweet, gentle kitten with a shy side, but I've been making wonderful progress learning to trust people. I really enjoy being petted, and when I'm feeling comfortable, I can even be held. I've spent plenty of time tucked safely in the window watching everything going on around me, but recently I've started getting brave enough to come out and play! Wand toys can be especially tempting when my playful side decides to make an appearance. My journey to Wild Blue Cats began in a TNR situation in Colorado Springs, where there were too many outdoor colony cats for the owner to continue caring for. We weren't wanted back at the colony, so Wild Blue gave us a safe place to grow, learn about people, and become the loving kittens we are today. I'll probably need a little patience while I adjust to my new surroundings, but once I realize I'm safe, my sweet personality begins to shine. I think I'd do well in a family with respectful teenagers, another feline friend, or even a doggie buddy, as long as you follow Wild Blue's introduction procedures. A kind, patient family who lets me move at my own pace would be just perfect. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt. I'll be waiting with a happy heart and a loud purr!
