In the shelter’s words
Hi, I’m Betelgeuse— a funny little name for a cat who turned out to be pretty unforgettable. I started my journey outside, doing my best to get by, until a wonderful family scooped me up and brought me into their busy, happy home. They had four kids, dogs, and cats, and you’d think that might overwhelm a guy like me… but nope. I fit in like I’d been part of the crew forever. I made friends with everyone — wagging tails, tiny hands, other cats — I didn’t mind any of it. Honestly, I kind of loved the chaos. I’m easy to handle, the kind of cat you can just pick up without any fuss. I melt right into your arms like it’s the most natural thing in the world. And treats? Oh, I’m wild about them. Shake the bag and I’ll come running like you just announced a national holiday. I’m friendly, adaptable, gentle, and happiest when I’m part of a family. If you’ve got kids, pets, or just a lively home, I’m your guy. I’ve already proven I can thrive in exactly that kind of environment. I’m Betelgeuse — ready to bring joy, sweetness, and a little treat‑powered enthusiasm to my forever family.
